The target opening date for our newest storage location is November 1, 2023.   It has been a long journey to get to this point, but the facility is almost ready to serve its’ first customers.  

 

With the transformer and switch-gear in place and inspected, power his being turned on to the individual building subpanels.    Not having to rely on limited temporary power, will permit construction to proceed more rapidly because the various plugs around the property will be usable.

 

With a final inspection from TMWA, the landscaping of the facility can proceed at a rapid pace.   As part of the landscaping process, the temporary fencing is being taken down and it is being replaced by permanent wrought iron fencing; first in the planters and then by the gates.    This gives the facility a much more finished look.   The last bit of chain-link fencing to go, will be that between the gates and the planters..  

 

The final building to be delivered has arrived and it is being erected in earnest.  Because the asphalt is in place, it seems the speed of construction moving along at 25% or more from what it was.  It is a lot like adding an extra day to the work-week, with everyone still getting the same number of days off.

 

While there is still a lot of work to be done hanging roll-up doors and installing interior systems, the finish line is in sight.
